Color
The assignment for this piece was to learn how to use color on black paper.
There’s a trick! Use white as an undercoat and add the color on top. It’s a lot
of work. But it works! Color pops. Before jumping into this we had been
studying color wheels, learning how to mix colors and how color will be affected
by the colors nearby. Color theory is quite involved. The quote by
Monet turned out to be pretty accurate.
